Fruity IPA
Fruity IPA & Quebraditas Coffee Farm
This lot, grown by Edinson Argote at Quebraditas Coffee Farm in Oporapa, Huila, is an extraordinary expression of his craft and curiosity. Edinson is known for his deep technical knowledge and obsession with clean, fruit-driven profiles. His experimental work with fermentation has turned Quebraditas into one of the most exciting farms in Colombia.
During my visit last year, I walked the farm with Edinson and saw how closely he works with his team, controlling every detail from harvest to drying. This Bourbon Sidra variety stood out immediately for its insane aromatics, textural clarity, and its bold structure, a profile that reminded me of a tropical, hop-forward IPA, yet balanced with Edinson's signature precision.
Fruity IPA by Edinson Argote
This Bourbon Sidra is processed using a carefully calibrated anaerobic washed method. In the cup, it opens with a hazy citrus and floral nose, followed by a juicy stone fruit middle. Tart raspberry and a lychee burst bring brightness and dimension, while hoppy black tea notes settle into a crisp, dry IPA-style finish. It's tropical, structured, and entirely one-of-a-kind.
